S/M Sid Jones crossed the bar on the evening of Wednesday 25 January.
Sid was President of the Margate Branch. He moved to Birchington from West Ham some years ago where he was made a life member, he was introduced to Her Majesty the Queen on her recent visit to Margate.

The funeral will take place at

Margate Crematorium

Monday 13th February at 16:00
The service will be conducted by Rev Ben Crick
There will be a wake at the Royal British Legion club Margate after the service.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
