100th anniversary of the first RNAS in Eastchurch This may coincide with the Memorial Service on Friday May 12 A small plaque or monument to the site of the first RNAS may be laid within the village of Eastchurch The finance for this will be generated by a 6 strong cycle team from 702 NAS covering the 500 miles or so from RNAS Culdrose to Eastchurch via all of 702’s previous bases Funds will be generated from Squadrons asked to donate along the way. |
