ROYAL NAVAL ASSOCIATION

To foster comradeship and "esprit de corps" amongst those who have served or are serving in our Naval Forces.
To perpetuate the memory of those members of our Naval Forces who have died in the service of their country.
To provide relief from conditions of need, hardship or distress, to persons who serve in or have served in our Naval Forces and all dependants of such persons.
To advise and assist Members in their search for employment.
To advise Members and their dependants on personal matters, such as pensions, compensation, health and social security benefits and other subjects affecting their welfare.

Friday 3rd September at 1100: Chatham RNB Drill shed remembrance service on the parade ground.

Saturday 4th September: 40th Anniversary Ramsgate RNA Club

Sunday 12th September at 1000
To commemorate the award of the first Victoria Cross, a short service with a wreath laid at Admiral Lucas's grave, will take place at Mereworth Church. All branches are welcome to attend.

4th to 10th October:
LISTEN UP. PUT THE KETTLE ON, MAN YOUR TEAPOTS, THE BIG BREW UP IS BACK
Isle of Sheppey branch sponsored brew up in Bluetown information centre; in conjunction with Tesco. For this one week in October, the whole country will be putting the kettlt on, for this tea releated fund raiser. Money raised will go to help SAFFA.

National Events

Weeley & District
The Two Fat Submariners, Barry Bishop and Steve Mills will travel to the ancient city of Wroclaw, Poland to participate in the Wroclaw Marathon on 12th September
